I learned a lot about plant identification and all of the field ecologists were friendly and helpful during the learning process.
What I wish was different
Every day you travel to a different site, however, sometimes the travel would be an hour-long even though there were other sites closer. I wish that had been a lesser occurrence, but it was not that bad.
Advice
If you are interested in the environment, this job will give you experience working in the field, but it can be tough so be prepared.
